His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), attended a military exercise conducted on Tuesday by the Royal Guard Command personnel at the Royal Guards Training School.
King Abdullah was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Hneiti and the Royal Guard Commander, who provided a briefing on the drill.
The military drill included various exercises, such as sharp shooting, self-defense, and tug of war, according to Petra news agency.
His Majesty commended the personnel’s readiness and high morale.
Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh, Adviser to His Majesty for Policies and Media Kemal Al Nasser, a number of senior JAF personnel, Royal Hashemite Court Secretary General Mohammad Karaki, the United Arab Emirates’ Military Attaché in Amman and a number of UAE officers attended the exercise.
